The R&D department, in coordination with the different divisions and the marketing department, develops solutions tailored to customer requirements and different markets.
In addition to the interaction between the different departments and the knowledge of the various markets where we are present, one factor that has helped us innovate has been the collaboration protocols with external organizations in research and technology (universities, laboratories, institutes, etc).
High-yield flavors are an exemple of this, as they allow a greater efficiency in transportation, lower costs and reduced delivery time in exports.
In the area of fragrances, the work for improvement of the final product performance led us to develop new encapsulation and micro-encapsulation methods, and functional micro-encapsulation is currently being studied.
Following new trends, specific flavors were developed for food supplements and the geriatric area. The major concern with healthy products led us to the development of functional preparations (with Omega 3, low in salt and/or fat, among others).
A set of specialized technicians and the existence of pilot plants allow us to carry out tests and present to clients the flavors and fragrances applied to the final product in various areas.
